Description
The title ‘Angarika’ was chosen because it means ‘a flame coloured flower’. She was so named because of her copper hair.
I created the original with mixed media on watercolour paper. This consists of bronze leaf, calligraphy inks and teas. The painting has been treated with ‘Schmincke Fixative’. However, still avoid direct sunlight.
It has a glazed, hand-crafted frame. Which is uniquely hand painted, to subtly reveal the underlying colours.
