This is an Intuitive art piece, ‘Painting from the heart’. The process allows the art to lead the way. The images form through layers of paint and other media.
I started the original with an underpainting of acrylic, gold and silver leaf. Subsequently I painted with oil and cold wax. I used brush work and pallet knife. This helped to make use of additive and subtractive techniques.
The final image reveals underlying nuances of color and intricate brush work.
