Description
The title Kimberley was chosen because it means ‘From the wood of the royal forest’. She was so named because she carries a regal air.
I created the original painting using mixed media on watercolour paper. This consists of calligraphy inks, graphite, walnut and silver leaf.
The painting has been treated with ‘Schmincke Fixative’. However, still avoid direct sunlight.
It has a glazed, hand-crafted frame. Which is uniquely hand painted, to subtly reveal the underlying colours.
