Giclee (pronounced “zhee-clay”) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries , museums , and private collectors.
Each painting has been scanned using a High Resolution Flatbed Scanner . They have then been carefully colour matched and test printed before accepting the final print.
Giclée is an archival process, using both archival media and inks; so your print is guaranteed to last between 80-100 years,(ISO 9706 conform /museum quality for highest age resistance) with the exception of direct sunlight, storage and most importantly the way the prints are handled. Canvas prints have an added protection of Hahnemühle Varnish.
